The purpose why we are hosting this LAN party goes hand in hand with the purpose of the website gamers.com.mt, that is we want to bring the gaming community together to grow socially and to always improve the qualities and skills of local gamers. Hosting this LAN party is another part of our efforts to give gamers the opportunity to compete, demonstrate their skills and win in their favourites games. We are hoping that this LAN party serves as a showcase of our local talent, to bring forth new emerging champions and promote the idea that gaming is not just a hobby but a full on sport! We also think that such an event is a perfect moment to introduce gamers to new games that are being played globally on a competitive level. GamersLAN will not be your usual LAN party; the gaming world has evolved and so must LAN parties. This is going to be the first LAN party that includes console tournaments in it. We have setup an entire gaming arena dedicated to PS3; with 10 LCD TVs, 10 PS3 and 64 gamer spots we are going to host the largest ever FIFA and Tekken tournaments. Last but not least GamersLAN will have the best prizes ever seen in any LAN party. We believe that there is no greater reward than a cash prize.
