1. Tournament admins

2. Tournament format

  • Best-of-one (BO1) match

  1. All games in the round robin stage are to be played in a best-of-one format.
  2. A best-of-one match is played on a single map in two stages of 15 in-game rounds. For each stage (half-time), the teams play alternatively Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists and score one point by winning one in-game round. The winner of the match is the first team who reaches a total of 16 in-game rounds. The remaining rounds will not be played after a team has won the match. If the match ends up in a tie, meaning that both teams have won 15 in-game rounds, overtimes will be played until the winner is decided. Teams do not switch sides at the end of a match in the case of overtime.
  • Best-of-three (BO3) match

  1. All games in the double elimination stage (playoffs) are to be played in a best-of-three format.
  2. A best-of-three (BO3) match consists of two or three maps. A match is played on two or three maps in two stages per map having 15 in-game rounds. For each stage (half-time), the teams play alternatively Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists and score one point by winning one in-game round. The winner of a game (map) is the first team who reaches a total of 16 in-game rounds for that game (map). The remaining rounds will not be played after a team has won the map. If a game ends in a tie, meaning that both teams have won 15 in-game rounds on the same map, overtimes will be played until a winner is decided for that map.
  3. For the overtime teams do not switch sides at the end of a match. The overtimes consist of 2 stages (half-times) having 3 in-game rounds each and have a particular game settings.
  4. The winner of the overtimes is the team that manages to win 4 in-game rounds. The winner of a match is the team that wins a total of two games. In a best-of-three format, teams are allowed to 5 minutes break between the matches (maps). The break time is subject to change if the situation requires it.

4. Map picks and bans

  • Map veto

  1. For this type of match format both team captains must respect the following procedure, a coin toss will decide whether you are Team A or Team B:
  2. Team B removes one of the 7 maps;
  3. Team A removes one of the 6 remaining maps;
  4. Team B removes one of the 5 remaining maps;
  5. Team A removes one of the 4 remaining maps;
  6. Team A picks one of the 3 remaining maps and that map will be played as the first map;
  7. Team B picks one of the 2 remaining maps and that map will be played as the second map;
  8. The last map will be played as the 3rd map if needed.
Team A is the upper-team in the bracket. The first match will start on the map which has been chosen by Team A. The sides will be chose via knife round. The last map will only be played if both teams win one map during the match. For the overtime teams do not switch sides at the end of a match.

5. In-Game

  • Nickname

  1. All players must display their team tags.
  2. NO unnecessary symbols or offensive language.
  • Match media

  1. Players are urged to record their in-game demo.
  2. Players are asked to save demos for up to 7 days after the game and should be made easily available for tournament officials.
  3. You can demand a maximum of two demos from your opponents, and you have to notify one of the admins that you have requested; you have 15 minutes to start uploading it to any file hosting site.
  4. Any requested demos must also be sent to one or more of the admins.
  • Match interruptions

If a match is involuntarily interrupted (players’ PC crash, server crash, power outage, network issues, etc...) the tournament officials may decide to replay the match according to the following rules:
  1. If the problem occurs in the first round of either the first or second half, the half time in question will be replayed;
  2. If the problem occurs in the first round of the overtimes, the overtime in question will be replayed;
  3. If the problem occurs in any other round, the players need to pause that round and wait until the problem is solved or until the tournament officials tell them to continue the game;
  4. If multiple users are dropped or the server crashes, the team captains will try to settle upon a way to carry on with the match. If they are not able to do so, the tournament officials will decide for them and the teams must respect their decision.
  • Pausing a match

  1. In order to un-pause the match, only the players from the team that requested the pause may un-pause the game;
  2. If the opposite team un-pauses the game without approval, the team in question will receive a warning;
  3. A team can have a maximum of 2 pauses per map; each pause can last 5 minutes;
  4. If a team pauses the game more than 2 times on a map or if the pausing time is greater than 5 minutes each, the team in question will receive a warning.
  • Warnings

Teams will be given a warning for violating rules, getting more than 3 warnings will result in disqualification!

6. After the match

  • Investigation requests

  1. When a team suspects they are being victim of rile violations during a match, players are compelled to not stop the game by any means and to properly finish it. Once the match is over, the team captain may officially ask for an investigation to tournament officials. It is strongly advised to provide valuable information that may help the tournament director in his investigation. Unjustified and repetitive use of this may be sanctioned.
  2. You can request a conflict after the game but only five minutes after the game in question has ended.

7. Other rules and violations

  • Forbidden software

  1. Players are forbidden from installing, downloading or using any external software or hardware that interacts in-game (apart from basic peripherals i.e. keyboard, mouse & headset). It is also forbidden any form of modification that would alter the game or allow a player to execute, automatically, more than one in-game action (Macros).
  • Forbidden in-game actions

  1. The following actions are strictly prohibited during a game and will result in round loss (the amount is determined by the tournament director) which will be deducted at the end of the match, and a warning:
  2. Any form of script is forbidden;
  3. Using bugs which change the game principle (i.e. spawn bugs) is illegal;
  4. Moving through walls, floors and roofs is strictly forbidden. This also includes skywalking;
  5. "Silent bombs" (ie. planting a bomb without making a sound) are illegal;
Planting bombs so that they cannot be defused is illegal. This does not include plants where multiple players are needed to defuse;
Boosting with the help of teammates is allowed in general, but is forbidden in places where the textures, walls, ceilings and/or floors become transparent or penetrable.

  • Sanctions

A team may be cautioned and receive warnings if one of his players commits any of the following offenses:
  1. Refuses to follow tournament officials' instructions
  2. Arrives late to a game.
  3. Shows dissent by word or action;
  4. Uses insulting language;
  5. Is guilty of unsporting behavior.
A team may receive sanction if one of his players commits any of the following offences:
  1. Receives more than one warning;
  2. Uses any unlawful or unfair proceedings;
  3. Mislead or dupe any tournament officials;
  4. A team may lose a match or multiple matches if they find themselves in one of the following situations:
  5. If a team is not ready within 15 (fifteen) minutes after the official match should've begun, the team in question will forfeit the first match as follows:
  6. If the match is in question is a single-game format then the team will forfeit the game;
  7. If the match is in a best-of-three format then the team will forfeit the map in question;
  8. If a team is not ready within 30 (thirty) minutes after the official match should've begun, the team in question will forfeit the game.
  • Sent off

  1. Being disqualified means the player/team in question is eliminated from the tournament.
  2. Having one of the players in your team means that your entire team is automatically eliminated from the tournament.

8.    NOTE: The above rules may be subject to change up until five minutes before the first match.
All teams participating in the tournament are assumed to have read these rules.
