The MITA Gaming Experience Team is part of a team-building exercise aiming to foster working relationships amongst different units whilst promoting:
- Fun and Creativity at Work
- Employee Responsibility and Autonomy
- Value in All Endeavours
- Corporate Social Responsibility
Following initial ground work, The Gamers Lounge agreed to join and support this initiative. By providing access to their Gaming Arena, the MITA Gaming Experience will be able to provide the ideal gaming environment. Participants will be able enjoy high-specked gaming, in a friendly environment, without the need to invest in any gaming equipment.
The MITA Gaming Experience presents different gaming technologies for participants to enter the virtual arena. Participants can leave their mundane lives behind and play professional soccer, drive expensive racing cars, participate in fearless fights and explore virtual space.
Two virtual tournaments will be held:
1. FIFA tournament - in the occasion of 2018 World Cup
2. Racing tournament - where participants will enter the cockpit and fly through a selected professional track
In view that the event shall take around seven to eight hours, eliminated participants will be able to pass the time playing Counter Strike or take a tour of a Virtual Reality landscape using a VR headset.
Trophies will be presented for FIFA and Racing tournament winners at the end of the night.
