VALORANT Act 2 - All the Details

Following our last article on VALORANT, Riot Games' tactical shooter has announced further content besides the announced Killjoy agent. Divided into Acts, the content schedule has it that besides the agent, more is being released as we'll dive into below. 

First off, here's a trailer for the new skin pack on the way: 

The Glitchpop Skyline set of skins, there are variants for multiple weapons: 

• Bulldog
• Frenzy
• Judge
• Odin
• Dagger

For your information, the skins should cost roughly 2,000 to 4,000 Valorant Points each. Although Riot Games has been under fire due to overpriced skins, it doesn't seem to be changing for now. 

Furthermore, the update includes features which I have personally been waiting for. A Free-For-All Deathmatch mode is finally here for whenever you don't have much time or aren't interested in a defusal game mode on that certain day. 

For those unaware, a Free-For-All Deathmatch involves no abilities, money or teams. Picking a weapon, which one may change each life, it's a cooldown mode in all ways similar to the Deathmatch mode implemented in CounterStrike: Global Offensive. 

Supposedly, the beta for the new game mode will release on August 5th. Should everything look stable, the game mode will be supported with a full release. 

Apart from the gamemode and the agent, VALORANT is packing a new Battle Pass as planned. A series of unique unlockables are on the way in the form of cards, titles and sprays. Otherwise, that's the entire Act. 

Is VALORANT copying CS:GO with deathmatch? 

So, I'm certain that a similar question is forming in your head right now. Though no, I wouldn't consider this 'copying' CS:GO in any way. A deathmatch is a pretty standard game mode across all first-person shooters and it was only a matter of time. 

Also, I'd expect other game modes to follow such as 'Gun Game' will probably follow up too.
