The MRO Overwatch: Open

We are proud to present our first eSports event for 2017, The MRO: Overwatch: Open tournament! The tournament will include an online qualifying stage leading to an offline event to be played in-front of a live audience held during The Malta Robotics Olympiad on the 24th and the 25th of March at MFCC, Malta.
This is the 6th edition of the Malta Robotics Olympiad, an event organised by the Ministry of Education in Malta and for the first time ever it will be featuring an eSports arena! This event mainly aims to bring young people together to develop their creativity and problem solving skills through challenging and educational robotics challenges. Along the years, it has evolved into a national convention and this year’s edition will include activities such as:
- An eSports Arena presented by Gamers.com.mt
- Computing/Robotics Arena presented by the Ministry of Education
- Design and Technology Expo presented by the Ministry of Education
- International Drone Racing World Qualifiers presented by the MultiRotors Malta Association
- EdX Talks by Industry Leaders presented by the University of Malta
Registration process for The MRO Overwatch: Open will be opening in the upcoming days. This event will be also serving as a national qualifier for any possible international events organised by Gamers.com.mt.
