Team Faceless Disband due to absence at TI7
Friday 7th July 2017, 02:37 | written by: Gabriel SciberrasAlthough Team Faceless can look back at the season with somewhat satisfaction, riddled with moderately high achievements, the team has decided to disband. Such an occurrence follows an intensely displeasing failure to qualify for The International 7 against many predictions. Here are the details.
The information, spread by the team’s manager, is probably just the initial droplets from the incoming wave of roster changes. Her Twitch stream is where the manager felt it right to announce, she being ‘furryfish’. Her words below;
“When they started, Daryl 'iceiceice' already said that it's just going to be a team of friends, and that the plan is to just do the one calendar year of Dota 2 —TI to TI. So it's not surprising that they're not together anymore."
As she explained, Team Faceless formed quickly after TI6 and consisted of “iceiceice”, “Black”, “xy-“, “Jabz” and “NutZ”. The season was to see them constantly dwell in the middle of the pack, having potential to reach further. The future of each individual player will probably remain ambiguous till August, when the coming flood of rostermania will hopefully settle.
Before that comes The International 7, the event to not miss as a DOTA 2 enthusiast. As of 5th July, total prize pool sits at $20,285,325.
