New Valorant Agent Revealed - Killjoy

VALORANT continues on its spiral upwards in terms of content as another agent has finally been revealed under the name of Killjoy. Riot Games keeps pushing for its new title's agents, and this new agent is looking incredible. 

Starting off with her abilities, she has a good mix of defensive and offensive playstyles, though she's leaning towards offensive. 

Let's try and take a look at what's been revealed so far: 

• Alarmbot ability - an offensive ability, Killjoy may release a small robot which chases down targets and attempts to detonate in a close enough range to damage opponents significantly, We've definitely seen this in Valorant before - this will be great for clearing tight corners. 
• Turret ability - also, Killjoy seems to be able to lock down an area by planting a sentry gun which may cover a 180 degree plain. It'll be interesting to see how this is implemented. 
• Nanoswarm grenade - her grenades seem to be unique in their own way as they supposedly 'go covert' once they connect with a surface. 

Before diving into her ultimate ability, let's review the trailer below:

The ultimate ability of Lockdown looks like something straight out of The Hunger Games. Apparently, it 'detains' all enemies in the radius. Also, it is destroyable. I'm not sure whether it's simply a cage or also a way to lockdown the exact location of players. Though, if they have to shoot and destroy it, that's compromising enough. 

Available on August 4th as part of the Act II update, the community is eager to get their hands on the new agent to test it out. Hopefully, she won't be too broken upon release like some of the other VALORANT agents in the past.
