New Map Revealed for COD:WWII

As we expected, more information is being leaked for Call of Duty: WWII as the final month of suspensed anxiety slowly ticks away. The most recent leak includes a new map, straight out of the heart of 21st Century London during the hardship of World War II obviously. Sledgehammer Games revealed all the details below on a social media platform, namely Twitter.

Diving straight into the name, it's called London Docks. As you may assume, the map should fall bang in the middle between the sea and heavily industrialised London. Regarding looks and features, all we have to cling to are a couple photos(one of which may or may not be taken from the map as it focuses on Gridiron) which are both included in this article. The most important aspect, however, is how it plays. We've got a great impression from the few comments we've heard. A few professional players have been given the opportunity to give it a try, with Patrick "Aches" Price confidently stating the following:

"London is GOATY"

Specifically, we don't learn much from the term "GOATY", but it's generally interpreted as an extremely positive term. Other comments include that of chief developer Micheal Condrey, which he spread on Twitter. He also gives an opinion about the new Gridiron game mode, whcih we covered here:

"We are super proud of the game and cannot wait to play it with the community, so please hang on for a bit as Nov. 3 is almost here. In the meantime, here's a first look at our London map in multiplayer. It's a studio favorite for Domination, Hardpoint, and TDM, and we think it could be a standout for the competitive season ahead. Also, it's a lot of fun for the new Gridiron game mode coming at launch."

It seems that this map looks to be great, but then again, a developer wouldn't insult his own map which he created.

We'll keep you all updated with anymore leaks related to the most anticipated FPS of the year; Call of Duty:WWII.
