Fnatic Disbands Call of Duty Roster
Thursday 21st September 2017, 03:22 | written by: Gabriel SciberrasThe team of “skrapz”, “SunnyB”, “Tommey” and “wuskin” who represented Fnatic throughout Infinite Warfare have gone separate ways after the organisation has decided to “step back from the competitive scene at least for now”. This was announced in a press release on Monday.
Starting in January, a little late in the competitive year, this roster was Fnatic’s first attempt to rejoin the CoD scene in over 5 years. Having some talent on the squad, especially the veteran experience from “Tommey”, hopes were ambitiously high. However, joining so late would prove to be too much for the team as they never really found their stride in any part of the year.
They failed to reach any grand finals at any events, including those exclusively for Europe. A high point of their year was a top 6 finish at the CWL Global Pro League Stage Two which looked to set them up for a promising finish at Champs. Yet, top 16 isn’t exactly promising.
With the chaotic rostermania going on,which we simply cannot cover due to the immensity of it all, it’s quite probable that the players will all find a new jersey. Yet, there are some doubts whether the twin brothers in “wuskin” and “skrapz” will stick together or not.
The community patiently waits for a roster deadlock deadline for all the rumours to settle.
