Sunday 15th April 2018, 13:53 | written by: Gabriel SciberrasEvery now and then, it’s only right to give something back to those who are in need. “Children everywhere deserve the right to learn” – that’s the motto of the Costa Foundation, which aims to educate and nurture the lives of young children in worse of societies. Gamers.com.mt has thus decided to work alongside Costa Coffee in aid of this cause – while also having a great time playing some FIFA 18 in the meantime. All the details are below.
A month from now, on the 19th May, all the enjoyable gaming action will go down at the Costa Coffee outlet in Balzan. The FIFA tournament, while be taking the format of Group Stages followed by a Single Elimination Bracket. With €750 up for grabs and trophies for all the podium finishes, there’s a lot to play for apart from the cause. That being said, part of the ticket price of €20 per person will obviously be going towards the cause. Perhaps you aren’t the most talented FIFA player but you’d like to donate anyway – then we suggest that you visit their website to give a private donation here: https://www.costafoundation.com/.
As of right now, the Costa Foundation has built up a whopping total of 587 classrooms in 10 different countries, while constructing schools, furnishing buildings, water supplies, providing electricity and computers alongside assisting teacher accommodation and agricultural situations. This what all donations will be used for and every single one is potentially life-changing.
Meanwhile, Costa Coffee Malta requires no introduction as it’s grown incredibly these past 6 years. With outlets at the airport, Marsaxlokk, Valletta, Sliema, St. Julian’s, Mosta and many more to come! They’ve chosen to work with us, Gamers.com.mt, as they found us to be professional, trustworthy and simply the only name to contact to organize high-quality competitive gaming on the island.
For the event, to add even more, we’ll also be working GameBreaker, “where gamers matter most”. We’ve decided to partner with them to further increase and ensure the quality of the overall tournament. GameBreaker is a retailer for games across multiple platforms, whose website you can visit right here: http://www.gamebreakermalta.com. With a mutual desire to help those in need, we’re glad to have them on board.
