ECS Season 3 Finals Days Away
Monday 19th June 2017, 03:28 | written by: Gabriel SciberrasThe dynamic CS:GO community is undeniably excited for the upcoming ECS Season 3 Finals. Whether fans are North American or European; everyone has someone to support at the tournament. The offline event has never had such incredible build-up, with already tight competition to even enter and claim a spot.
Europe is to offer FaZe Clan, Astralis, Fnatic and G2 Esports to compete at London along with fierce North American contestants. Other EU top dogs such as Team EnVyUs and Ninjas in Pajamas failed to qualify for the tournament. Back to the North American teams, these consist of Cloud 9, SK Gaming, Team Liquid and Optic Gaming. Again, some teams known to enter simply didn’t, such as Luminosity and Immortals. This tight roster of 8 teams is sure to produce some fantastic matchups and close battles. What else should we expect?
Other forecasted occurrences include OG achieving revenge onto rivals Astralis due to a humiliating clean-up in last years’ grand finale. Also, G2 Esports, after taking ESL Season 5, are on form and look to maintain the momentum. Astralis are to hold their reputation following their victory last season; will they keep up with the pressure? Honestly, it’s anyone’s game; all we can do is watch.
Catch all the matches in the 72 hours between June 23 and June 25, which will take place at the Wembley SSE Arena.
