Call of Duty: WWII Temporarily Dominated Twitch Viewership

August 24th was a delightful surprise for all Call of Duty enthusiasts as the beta went live earlier than expected; because why not? Just after 4 hours in, and the title rose to becoming the most viewed game at the time , beating out other top titles. 

Here are the numbers from 24th August:

• COD: WII with 110,692 viewers
• PUBG with 109,911 viewers
• LOL with 97,074 viewers
• Heathstone with 71,079 viewers

Many well-known faces in the Call of Duty community were taking advantage of this hype, such as Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag, Damon "Karma" Barlow, Jack "Courage" Dunlop and James "Clayster" Eubanks. It's great to see so much support from the community now that boots are finally back on the ground. 

However, as of 25th August, the numbers have cooled down to a reasonable 24,078 viewers.
