A Heavy Victory in the War Against Cryptocurrency

PC enthusiasts looking to buy some of the best GPUs understand and probably hate the issue of pricing due to those damned cryptocurrency miners. Thankfully, this “free money” method is becoming redundant for miners due to a terribly high number of people pushing the algorithm; which is struggling to keep up. Thus, most miners are burning more money on electricity and making less from running the GPUs.

Coin values have dropped, as will the components’ price tags soon. This is easily visible on Ethereum, the latest cryptocurrency to rise in popularity, through the graph below.

In order to make a form of profit, a hoard of miners have reached to resellers such as Amazon and eBay. Although you may already be jumping with excitement, it is advised that caution must be taken before purchasing a GPU from a miner since it would have been heavily loaded and taxed which may lower its quality. Just wait a moment for the market to flood with those lovely cards at their original prices.

If you’ve been waiting for the past few months to buy a card, but you’ve steadied your hand from purchasing an overpriced one; well done, such patience has definitely saved you a considerable amount of money. This is a victory for all PC gamers and a loss for those cryptocurrency mining bums who fully deserve what’s been done to them.
