3.5 years in prison for playing in church?

What kind of world are we living in? This russian blogger got 3.5 years suspended inprisonment for playing Pokemon GO in church. As you can see in the GIF below, he posted a video on his social media and the Russian authority got a bit angry about it. He was on a house arrest back in September 2016 and recently he got his sentence from the high courts. The Russion authorities said that this was a clear “ disrespect for society.” Do you think that this is ridiculous and absurd?
